Getting to Aguascalientes : Aguascalientes has a large airport 10 miles outside the city and high-quality buses run to the city center from all points within Mexico. The Central de Autobuses is within walking distance of Lukas Hostel or is a 5-10 minute taxi ride. Visit the WikiTravel page on Aguascalientes for more information about getting to Aguas.

From the bus station: Take bus #1, 5, or 8 (heading to el Centro.) Get off at the Mercado Teran bus stop and walk to the Banorte Bank, which is on the corner of 5 de Mayo and Valentin Gomez Farias. Take that street (Valentin Gomez Farias) and walk 5 blocks (you will pass the Jardin de Guadalupe on your left.) Keep walking one more block, look for the Colorful Windsocks at the top of the façade and you will be at The Lukas Hostel – The Blue Door - between the Tienda and the Internet Place.
Or take a taxi. The red taxis in Aguascalientes have meters to ensure an accurate fare. Make sure your driver turns yours on! It should cost 30-40 pesos and take 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic.

From the Airport: The Lukas Hostel can pick you up at the airport if you make arrangements with us beforehand. We charge 150pesos for the 25km ride – less than a taxi – and we can bring you back to the airport for another 150pesos.
